FUCK! I can't STAND Channel 5's broadcast of Cards games.

The annoying Rene Knott and Katie Felts and their pre-game show (that guitar-riff intro/outro music, Jesus, it just sounds so 3rd rate, local cable, two guys in a basement), the SUNDAY IS GAME DAY! fucking song too.

Jay Randolph can hardly keep the players straight, Horton sounds better when he's on FSN with Dan, but on Channel 5 he goes even MORE nicey-nice and all fucking Christian Family Day and shit.

Sorry, it's a rant, but I just had to get it off my chest. Excellent post.

These guys are boring, it's true. But there a a whole lot of us without cable and appreciate watching a Cardinal's game on Sunday via the old fashioned, over-the-air Cardinal's TV network.

Thats a good point and one I thought of while writing this post.

Not sure what the answer is for it though and I think its only going to get worse when more baseball teams go the way of the Yankees and Mets by launching their own private TV channel for their games.

All telephones used to be wired, not they're wireless. All TV's used to be wireless, now they're wired. What's going on?
